Concept Development: Inspired by the idea of community engagement, I developed the Chroma Cafe concept to serve as a platform for local artists and coffee enthusiasts. The vision was to create an inviting space that celebrates artistic expression alongside exceptional coffee.
Visual Direction: Working closely with a friend for visual feedback, I crafted a cohesive branding and aesthetic that reflects the vibrancy of both the artists and the coffee blends. This collaboration helped refine the color palettes, typography, and overall visual identity of Chroma Cafe.
Artist Collaboration: I imagined inviting local artists to participate, where each artist would have the opportunity to showcase their work and influence a new coffee brew. This element not only elevates the coffee experience but also allows artists to engage with the community in a meaningful way.
Event Planning: I designed a framework for monthly events, considering logistics, marketing, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The goal was to encourage interaction between artists and patrons, making each event a celebration of creativity.
Feedback and Iteration: Although this is a fictitious project, I incorporated feedback from my visual direction collaborator to refine the concept. This process highlighted the importance of collaboration and adaptability in creative endeavors.
